Omega has introduced a pair of new two-color models Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch<\/strong> using the company’s 18-carat Moonshine Gold or Sedna Gold. In addition to the new two-tone case and bracelet, this is, in fact, the very Moonwatch that everyone knows. This is a 42mm case on a bracelet with gold central links, sapphire crystal and a back cover, as well as the Omega 3861 hand-wound Master Chronometer caliber. Both new Moonwatch models feature Ceragold ceramic bezels. The Moonshine Gold version has a silver dial with a radiant guilloche and matching additional Moonshine Gold dials, while Sedna Gold has a Sedna Gold PVD coating.<\/p>\n Given Omega’s continued commitment to an all-gold Moonwatch, it seems natural that they would release something in between the standard stainless steel Moonwatch and the more luxurious jeweled Speedie. An all-gold Moonwatch costs over $40,000, while a standard Speedmaster Professional with a closed back cover will cost $7,100.<\/p>\n It is interesting to note that, unlike the existing Moonwatch models, both new products have Ceragold ceramic bezels. They have a ceramic ring, and the black tachymeter scale uses Ceragold, a blend of ceramic and Omega gold. This distinguishes them from previous Moonwatch models, which use aluminum inserts.<\/p>\n Moonshine Gold combines a silver dial with a stainless steel case that pleasantly contrasts with the black bezel. The two-color Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch using 18-carat Moonshine Gold (310.20.42.50.02.001<\/strong>) or Sedna Gold (310.20.42.50.99.001<\/strong>) measures 42 mm (47.5 mm from ear to ear and 13.2 mm thick) and uses the 3861 hand-wound Master Chronometer. Both models feature a radially polished dial and a Ceragold ceramic bezel. Water resistant to 50 meters, sapphire crystal and back cover.
