Jaeger LeCoultre has introduced a new Atmos desktop clock model. The collection is complemented by a novelty from the Atmos Infinite series, which was first introduced in 2022.<\/p>\n

The special feature of this series is the shape of the case. It is made in the form of a cylindrical hood, in this case a glass one, which allows you to observe the operation of the mechanism. It seems that the mechanism is floating in the case. In fact, it is mounted on glass stops invisible to the eye.<\/p>\n

The mechanism here is, plus or minus, the same as that of the first Atmos watches, released back in 1928. The mechanism is based on a sealed capsule filled with gas, which is connected to a winding spring through a special membrane. At the slightest change in temperature, the membrane either expands or contracts, which ensures constant winding of the spring. Temperature fluctuations of just 1 degree Celsius are enough to provide the watch mechanism with a power reserve of about 2 days.<\/p>\n

The watch’s dial is a construction of two concentric discs covered with 10 layers of white lacquer. The overhead hourly indexes are clearly visible on the boiling-white background. The dial is encircled by a metal ring with small indentations that serve as minute markers.<\/p>\n

The Atmos Infinite Halo model is limited to a series of 100 copies. The presentation of the watch took place on April 8 in Milan as part of Milan Design Week.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
